There was none of this shit about metrics, all your DSP and Amazon cared about was getting their packages delivered. Some Amazon Delivery Drivers say the job posting says full-time but when you actually start working, they drop your hours to part-time. The DSP you join, management, team mates, the station itself (i have worked out of many with my DSP as we operate out of multiple!) and the area your DSP will cover (this can change FYI!). There used to be a Amazon employee that would yell at us when we were loading; at the time this happened I was the lead driver for my DSP and I would yell back at him; we came to a understanding and he stopped yelling at us after that because I made him realize how chaotic/unorganized loadout for every wave is without him yelling at us The difference between DSP drivers and Amazon drivers is important. After the background check came back they sent a pre-adverse action notice and said they weren’t going to continue with my application. I was very confused because i applied to work directly for Amazon and i was contacted directly from Amazon DSP and was told i would be working for Amazon DSP. DSP asks us to show up at 8:45 but doesn’t pay us till 9(crazy) We arrive at 8:45 and are expected to stand in the cold till 9 and listen to a 15 minute lecture on everything we do wrong.
